Meet Alyse Juravic. Alyse is our Motivating Mom of the Month for January! Alyse is an inspiration for our entire village. Alyse is mama to Aubrey and is a wonderful part of our village!

We asked Alyse a few questions, and here is what she had to say:
Who are the members of your family?
My husband David, daughter Aubrey and Baby J arriving July 2019!
When did you come to your first FIT4MOM Palos Verdes & San Pedro workout and who or what got you there?
My first FIT4MOM Palos Verdes & San Pedro workout was in early October of 2018. Like most moms, I was shopping at Trader Joes in my comfy workout clothes with my daughter in the cart. Jennifer and her friendly daughter Zoey told me all about Stroller Strides and invited me to a class. I went a few days later and was hooked!
What is your FIT4MOM why - what keeps you coming to workout, keeps you involved?
Throughout the day, we are constantly doing things for other people and often make no time for ourselves. Before I started FIT4MOM, I would find myself drained and discouraged at the end of the day because I made no time for myself. FIT4MOM Stroller Strides gave me that time for me-- to exercise my body leaving me feeling strong and confident, to connect with my child through song while being outside and to connect with other mamas making me feel part of something and supported.
What is one of your favorite exercises you have done with FIT4MOM?
My favorite cardio exercise we do is when we collect each colored ball of the rainbow by climbing up and down the stairs. It gets the heart rate up, is a great workout for my legs and the best part is giving our little kiddos the balls as we go! My favorite mama move is when we passed pumpkins around the group of mamas while doing plank and crunches.
- Favorite workout song? I like the Fire Fighter Song that we do with the Abs mama move.
- Best breakfast before a workout? Iced Vanilla Coffee and a bagel with cream cheese
- Most delicious dessert you have ever had? My favorite dessert would be frozen yogurt with chocolate chips, rainbow sprinkles gummy worms. I know....random but so yummy! haha
- I feel like ____________ after a FIT4MOM® workout. I feel energized, recharged, motivated, and happy after a FIT4MOM workout.
Before I had kids, I said I would never _________________ but now I ________________________. Before I had kids, I said I would never stay in my pjs all day, but now I do it occasionally and it feels great!
Any advice for other moms out there?
Make the time, you won't regret it! No matter how hard the morning is or the lack of sleep from the night before, come to a workout. The rest of the day you'll thank yourself and be the best version of you!
